Both total heterotrophic bacteria count and total coliform counts were determined using 0.1ml of each seria11y diluted sample on nutrient and MacConkey agar plates respectively. Total elerolrophic bacteria count was of the order x I 04 cfu/ml while total coliform count was of the order x103 cfu/ml.
